Fuhr passive door locks suit the passive leaf on a pair of hinged, French doors. These locks are non handed and can be used on either a left or right hand door. They consist of a central lock, without latch or deadbolt that connect into shoot bolts, which hold the passive door leaf in place, once the handle has been lifted. They work using a standard lift lever operation.\n<\/p>\n
\nFuhr passive locks were previously referred to as “slave” door locks and are available in different versions, a main lock, such as this one, and an espag with a separate locking handle. This handle is part DPMG01S.<\/p>\n
Operation: <\/strong>Lift Lever<\/p>\n To lock the door<\/strong><\/p>\n 1. Lift the handle upwards to engage the locking points.<\/p>\n 2. Lock the locking points and main deadbolt (if present) by turning the key.<\/p>\n To unlock the door<\/strong><\/p>\n 1. Unlock the system by turning the key.<\/p>\n 2.
