Yale Lockmaster AutoEngage gearboxes look quite different to regular Lockmaster gearboxes and measure only 201mm high. The top of the gearbox is 82mm from the spindle and the gearboxes feature a groove to accept bolt through fixings.<\/p>\n
The AutoEngage gearbox is available in 45mm or 55mm backsets and is designed for use on timber and composite doors.<\/p>\n
Gearboxes are attached to faceplates with 3 screws and cannot be interchanged with other lockmaster locks.<\/p>\n
When measuring the backset, allow 2-3mm for the faceplate, so a 28mm backset gearbox will measure 25mm when not fixed to the strip.<\/p>\n
This is the automatic locking version of the lockmaster gearbox. Suits regular and heritage locks.<\/p>\n
