This Union L22174 Everest multipoint gearbox is supplied with a 210mm x 30mm faceplate. Strike plate, fixings and shootbolt kits are no longer available so the existing shootbolts cannot be reused. Alternatively, the case must be operated as a deadbolt only.<\/p>\n

Operation:<\/strong> Lift lever or split spindle<\/p>\n

Latch reversal:<\/strong> Push the latch clear of the faceplate, twist the latch to reverse, and release.<\/p>\n

To lock the door<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. On closing the door, the latch is automatically engaged.<\/p>\n

2. Lift the handle up to engage the additional locking points.<\/p>\n

3. Throw the deadbolt and lock the system by turning the key (on some brands, the deadbolt will be thrown by lifting the handle).<\/p>\n

To unlock the door<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Unlock the system by turning the key.<\/p>\n

2. Push the handle downwards to disengage the locking points.<\/p>\n
