These gearboxes will only replace newer KFV locks as older versions have different connectors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To lock the door<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. On closing the door, the latch and locking points are automatically engaged as the triggers on the door connect with the keeps on the frame.<\/p>\n<p>2. Turn the key to deadlock the mechanism.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To unlock the door<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Turn the key to unlock the mechanism.<\/p>\n<p>2. If you have a lever, push the lever down to retract the locking points.
